Voice Recorder Automatic Pet Feeders

Custom mealtime audio alerts

This set features feeders with built-in microphones and speakers. You can record a short clip, usually around 10 seconds, that plays right before the food drops. This helps call pets to the bowl if they are in another room or sleeping.

The audio function acts as a consistent cue for your pet. It associates your voice with feeding time, which can be helpful for anxious animals or those who need a nudge to eat their scheduled portions.

Hardware and recording specs

The listings here include both basic programmable timers and smart WiFi-enabled dispensers. The voice recorder is usually located on the front panel or managed via a smartphone app depending on the specific model.

• 10-second high-definition voice recording chips
• Adjustable meal frequencies up to 6 times per day
• Dual-bowl options for feeding two pets simultaneously
• Locking lids to prevent pets from raiding the food tank
• Elevated stands included with some PETME2 and WOPET models

Operating the voice call feature

To use these devices, you typically hold a record button, speak your command, and save it to the internal memory. The feeder then repeats this sound at every programmed mealtime. Some models allow you to disable the sound for late-night feedings if preferred.

Browse the brand pages for Nityers or PetSafe to compare how different manufacturers handle audio playback. Some units offer louder speakers which are better for large homes where the pet might be far from the kitchen.
